All-Weather Tires

These are designed for more severe weather conditions than all-season tires. They perform better in snow and ice, but they’re not quite on par with dedicated winter tires. Their tread pattern is more aggressive than that of all-season tires for better grip in snow and ice, yet less so than winter tires. They handle colder temperatures better than all-season tires but might wear faster in hot weather. Many all-weather tires have the snowflake symbol, meeting specific snow traction performance requirements.
