As for performance tires, also known as summer tires, they’re ideal for warm climates and high-performance vehicles. In warm, dry, and wet conditions, they deliver optimal performance. However, they’re not suitable for snow or ice. Their tread design maximizes road contact and grip on dry and wet roads. But in cold weather, they lose flexibility and grip. These tires are often found on sports cars and performance-oriented vehicles.
